Hi, I'm Sujatha Muralidhar, the heart and soul of PepperBowl.com. I reside in a picturesque town in Central Pennsylvania, surrounded by flowing creeks and rolling hills.
On this website, I share delicious, effortless American and global dishes with a pinch of heat. Here, you'll find curries and popular Mexican, Caribbean, and Thai recipes(just enough to satisfy cravings for your favorite restaurant dishes).
I use ingredients that are easy to find so that you can pick them up from your local store. Plus, if a recipe calls for some special ingredients, I provide tips on how and where to find it with ease.
If you're curious about adding a bit of zest to your meals, you've found your spot.
My Qualifications
I hold two master's degrees: one in Commerce and one in Philosophy of Commerce(where I learned about research methodologies).
During my college studies, my passion for food led me to complete a certification course on food preservation(where I learned food and its preservation techniques).
Fast forward to 2024. I'm pursuing a year-long professional certification program at Havard University in the Science of Cooking. This knowledge of the science behind cooking assists me in creating dishes with the best flavors and textures.
Pursuing a degree at Havard University was my dream, And achieving it with my passion makes it all the more rewarding.
About PepperBowl
2012, I started this pepperbowl: a name inspired by my love for 'chili peppers' and my son's love for the 'Super Bowl.'
Initially, this website was a portal to organize my family's favorite recipes. But after a while, when my dashboard showed the visitors sparkling green dots across the globe, my perspective towards the website changed.
Since then, the relationship between our readers has been going strong. Thus, a personal project has become an unexpectedly public venture with celebrated spicy food inspired by global flavors.
Thank you for all your support; without you, I could not come this far. I'm grateful for the immense love and encouragement.
Please provide us with your views and suggestions; your words keep us moving forward.
What can you find on PepperBowl.com?

When I'm not in the kitchen?
If it's over the weekend, you can see me hiking on our local trail(my heart is with our gorgeous hiking trails), walking with the dog outdoors, sketching with pens, or listening to podcasts(I need someone to talk to me all the time).
