Dragon Fruit Milk Shake – a healthy choice
Prep time : 3 min,
Yeild : Serves 2
1 of Dragon Fruit
2 Cups of Milk
3 tbsp of Sugar
2 drops of Vanilla Extract
How to make Dragon Fruit Milk Shake:
1. Cut the fruit in half and scoop out the flesh of dragon fruit with a spoon.
2. In the blender add the scooped out pulp along with cold milk, sugar and vanilla extract. Combine everything by running the blender for a couple of seconds. The highlight of this milk shake is the mild crunchy texture of the seeds. The seeds tend to break down easily, so make sure you are running the blender just to combine the ingredients.
3. Serve the milkshake cold, adding ice cubes are optional. I personally prefer, not to be served with ice cubes, where I cannot really enjoy the adorable taste of this shake.
Tips and Variations:
I have added vanilla extract in this recipe, but it can also be substituted with cardamom or any other flavorful essences.
