Sweet Corn Cob is my most favorite snack, I love to have it even in the middle of my sleep. Who says ‘No’ to these soft, textured, mild sweeter, juicier sweet corns. Its a rare occasion where very easy recipes yields better taste. This recipe is one of its kind. This recipe is one of its kind. This is very simple and everybody might be knowing it already. But I came up with this recipe as I want to share what I loved.
Though it is simpler and easy recipe, serving it in the correct texture is very important in the case of sweet corn. Some of us like to have fresh crunchier textured sweet corn, others would love to have very soft textured. I love to have soft textured and but still have its fresh milk like juice on it. The freshness of sweet corn is very important, So I always remove its husk just before cooking.
Lemon drizzled Sweet Corn Cob

3 of Sweet Corn
3 tsp of Lemon Juice
1 tsp of Chili Powder
Salt to taste
How to cook perfectly:
Remove the husk and silks(thread like structure around the tip of corn). In a big pot pour required water which makes corn to get floated, bring it to boil. Add salt, drop the cleaned and washed corns, again bring it to boil. After 3-4 min the water starts getting boiled and simmer the stove for 12-15 min. and Leave it in the water, till serving.
If you take that out of water and kept remaining outside, it tends to become dry. So serve them accordingly. Serve it with drizzle of lemon juice with salt and chili powder.
Here comes the most complicated part, ‘eating’. It is definitely an art to eat these corn kernels without sticking to teeth. If you could eat row by row, it hardly gets into the teeth. If you are not excelled in this art, then nothing bothers us as tooth brush are there to come to our rescue.
So keep enjoying with sweet corns, without hurting teeth healthiness too.
