Tomato. Any verity of tomato plays perfect, however cherry, plum tomato adds extra value to the savory cantaloupe salad.

Lemon. A star ingredient that brings all other ingredients together.

  • ½ cup tomato bite-size cubes
  • ½ cup green pepper bite-size cubes
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon whole black pepper coarsely ground
  • ¼ teaspoon salt or as required

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, cantaloupe cubes, tomato, green pepper, lemon juice, crushed black pepper, and salt.
  • Toss until all ingredients are combined well.
  • Transfer to the serving bowl.
