Spicy garlic lime chicken

Spicy garlic lime chicken is a healthy and flavorful meal that can be made in under 30 minutes. The tangy and garlicky sauce adds an extra burst of flavor. Serve with lime slices for a refreshing touch.

4 chicken breasts  3 teaspoons olive oil (divided) 1/2 teaspoon black pepper 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1 teaspoon paprika  1/2 teaspoon garlic powder  1/2 teaspoon onion powder

INGREDIENTS

Prepare the chicken by rinsing and patting dry. Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken breasts.

Soak cedar planks in water for 1 hour. Wash and clean salmon fillets. Pat dry with paper towel. Spread dijon mustard and sprinkle salt and pepper. Marinate for 20 minutes.

Sauté minced garlic. Add lime juice, zest, butter, and white wine. Stir and return chicken to skillet.

Toss chicken in sauce until coated. Transfer to serving plate and drizzle remaining sauce from skillet over the chicken. Serve.

1) When searing the chicken, make sure to heat the oil in the skillet until it's hot before adding the chicken.  2) When cooking the chicken, use a meat thermometer to ensure it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
