 Spicy tofu steak

Spicy tofu steak is a grilled, crispy and creamy appetizer. Made with firm tofu, soy sauce, chili garlic sauce, and cornstarch, it's a healthy and delicious vegan option. Serve with vegetables, noodles, or rice for a complete meal.

2 cups firm tofu, cubed  1/4 cup soy sauce  1 tablespoon chili garlic sauce  1 tablespoon corn starch  1 tablespoon vegetable oil for brushing

INGREDIENTS

Open tofu pack and drain excess water. Cut into cubes.

Pulse blender for 1 min or until smooth.

Heat grill to medium heat. Brush vegetable oil onto grill. Place tofu on grill and brush with oil. Grill tofu for about 5 minutes on each side.

Grill tofu for about 5 minutes on each side, until desired texture is reached. Serve hot with rice and steamed vegetables.

1. Make sure to drain the excess water from the tofu before cooking to achieve a crisp outer texture.  2. Brush vegetable oil on the grill before cooking to prevent the tofu from sticking.
