Badam milk

Enjoy a traditional Indian drink, Badam milk. This almond milkshake is made with milk, almonds, cardamom, saffron strands, and sugar. Soak and blend the almonds, then combine with milk and cook until combined. Add saffron milk and sugar, and serve hot or chilled.

Ingredients: - ½ cup Badam/Almonds - 1 cup water - 16 saffron strands - ⅙ cup milk - 4 cups Milk - 8 teaspoons sugar (or as required)

INGREDIENTS

Soak ½ cup of almonds in 1 cup of water for 2 hours. Soak 16 saffron strands in lukewarm milk for 15 minutes.

Remove the skin of the almonds and blend them with the reserved water until smooth.

Combine the almond paste with 4 cups of milk in a pot. Bring the milk to a boil and then lower the heat.

Cook mixture on medium heat until almonds are cooked & well combined. Add saffron milk & sugar. Serve hot or chilled.
