Cajun butter sauce
This Cajun butter sauce is a flavorful blend of butter, garlic, onion, jalapeno, and Cajun seasoning. Perfect for adding a spicy kick to any dish!
4 tablespoons unsalted butter 1 tablespoon minced garlic 2 tablespoons chopped onion 2 tablespoons cored and seeded jalapeno 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt 1 tablespoon flour
Melt 4 tbsp of unsalted butter in a pan over medium heat.
In a pan, melt 4 tbsp unsalted butter. Add 1 tbsp minced garlic, 2 tbsp chopped onion, 2 tbsp finely chopped jalapeno (cored and seeded), and ¼ tsp kosher salt. Cook for 2-3 mins until garlic is fragrant.
Stir in 1 tbsp of flour and cook briefly until the flour slightly changes color.
Blend the mixture until smooth.
