Cedar plank salmon

Enjoy a delicious Cedar Plank Salmon with a smoky flavor and the perfect blend of herbs. Serve with steamed vegetables for a flavorful and wholesome meal.

4 tablespoons mayonnaise  1 teaspoon hot sauce  2 salmon fillets, skin on  2 tablespoons dijon mustard - 1/4 teaspoon salt (or as required)  1 teaspoon whole black pepper

INGREDIENTS

Combine 4 tbsp mayonnaise and 1 tsp hot sauce. Whisk well and set aside for the sauce.

Drain artichoke hearts and chop. Mince the jalapeno pickles.

Set grill to high, then reduce flame to medium. Grill cedar planks for 2-3 minutes. Place salmon skin-side down on plank and cook for 20-30 minutes until 165°F.

Drizzle spicy sauce over grilled salmon. Serve with steamed vegetables and extra sauce. Enjoy!

1. Soaking the cedar planks in water for 1 hour before grilling will prevent them from burning.  2. Generously spreading Dijon mustard on the salmon before grilling.
