Coconut chutney for dosa

Learn how to make coconut chutney, a delicious side dish for South Indian breakfasts like idli and dosa. With only a few ingredients, this creamy and flavorful chutney is easy to prepare in just a few simple steps.

1 cup grated coconut  1/3 cup roasted grams  2 green chili  1/2 teaspoon salt or as required, 1/2 cup water or as required, 1 teaspoon vegetable oil  1/2 teaspoon black mustard seeds  1 teaspoon skinless black gram /urad dal - 5 curry leaves

INGREDIENTS

In a mixer jar, add grated coconut, roasted gram, green chili, salt, and water. Grind it to a smooth paste.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan. Add black mustard seeds, urad dal, and curry leaves. Allow mustard seeds to splutter and urad dal to become golden brown.

Add the tempered mixture to the chutney.
