Green taco sauce

This homemade green taco sauce is made with jalapenos, garlic powder, vegetable oil, onion, lime juice, salt, and cilantro.

4 jalapenos   1 teaspoon garlic powder   2 tablespoons vegetable oil  ¼ cup chopped onion   ¼ cup lime juice   ½ teaspoon salt   1 tablespoon cilantro

INGREDIENTS

Boil water in a pot and add 4 jalapenos. Cook on medium heat for 5-7 minutes until soft.

Remove jalapenos from the water and place them in a blender jar.

In a blender jar, combine 4 boiled jalapenos, 1 tsp garlic powder, 2 tbsp vegetable oil, ¼ cup chopped onion, ¼ cup lime juice, ½ tsp salt, and 1 tbsp cilantro. Blend until smooth, then transfer to a serving bowl. Use as a drizzle or dip for tacos. Enjoy!
