Jalapeno spaghetti

Jalapeño Spaghetti is a delicious and spicy pasta dish made with jalapeños, creamy parmesan/mild cheddar sauce, and a blend of herbs and spices.

8 ounces spaghetti 2 jalapeños, finely chopped  2 tablespoons olive oil 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 medium onion, chopped 1 large tomato, chopped  1 cup heavy cream 1 teaspoon dried parsley 1 teaspoon dried basil ½ teaspoon salt ¾ teaspoon black pepper 1 cup mild cheddar cheese

INGREDIENTS

Fill pot with water, bring to boil, add salt. Cook spaghetti for 8-10 mins. Drain and set aside.

Add olive oil, minced garlic, chopped onion, and jalapeños to a pan and cook until tender and lightly browned. Add chopped tomato and cook until soft.

Add heavy cream, dried parsley, dried basil, salt, and pepper to the pan. Turn the heat to low-medium. Add the cooked spaghetti and grated mild cheddar cheese. Toss well to coat every strand with the sauce.

Transfer to serving plates. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and freshly chopped jalapeños for extra kick. Enjoy!
