Mushroom Philly cheesesteak: A vegan twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, this recipe uses mushrooms instead of meat for a healthier option. Packed with flavor and easy to make.

1 lb mushrooms 1 medium-sized onion 1 green pepper/capsicum 1/2 teaspoon salt (or as required) 1/2 teaspoon paprika 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 4 slices bread

INGREDIENTS

Wash and clean mushroom, green pepper, and onion. Slice mushroom, onion, and green pepper to the same thickness.

Add salt and paprika to the mushroom. Grill it till it releases its moisture. In a separate pan, add vegetable oil and saute onion and green pepper slices until caramelized.

Add grilled mushroom, nutritional yeast, and paprika to the pan. Saute for a minute on high heat until well combined.

Toast bread, stuff it with the filling, and cut the sandwich diagonally. Serve and enjoy.
