In a medium to slow flame, heat a heavy bottomed pot.

Once it becomes hot, add the pre-rinsed and dried quinoa.

Wait until you start seeing quinoa pops. Then gently shake back and forth to avoid scorching. Continue until all grains have popped.

Continue shaking the pot for about 5-7 minutes, or until all the quinoa grains have fully popped and they appear fluffy and golden brown.

1. Rinse quinoa before popping to remove any residual bitterness.  2. Keep the heat medium-low to prevent quinoa from burning while popped.
