Saffron tea

Saffron tea is a warm and mild beverage with a refreshing and nourishing flavor. A few strands of saffron are enough to make this tea aromatic and fresh. Made with water, mint leaves, honey, and saffron, it is served hot with a lemon wedge for a delightful experience.

- 2 cups water - 6 mint leaves - 1 teaspoon honey - 12 strands saffron - 2 lemon wedges (optional for serving)

INGREDIENTS

Bring 2 cups of water to a rolling boil, then switch off the flame.

Add 6 mint leaves and 1 teaspoon of honey to the boiled water. Stir until honey is dissolved. Strain the liquid.

Transfer the tea to serving cups. Add one lemon wedge and 4-5 strands of saffron to each cup.
