Green beans Garlic Sriracha sauce Sesame oil Red chili flakes
Snip off the head and tail of green beans. Boil them for two minutes until crisp. Transfer to ice-cold water for five minutes, then drain and set aside.
Place a frying pan over medium heat, add sesame oil and minced garlic. Stir until fragrant. Add green beans, Sriracha sauce, red pepper flakes.
Toss until the green beans are evenly coated with the sauce. Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy with your pasta or rice. A spicy delight in every bite!
Best to pair with rice, pasta, salad, or soup. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days or freeze for three months.
TIPS Use fresh, crisp, tender green beans for the best texture. Blanch the green beans for 1 to 2 minutes for tender beans, a minute more for mature ones. Adjust the red chili flakes according to your spice preference.
Serve with Rice (sushi rice, egg fried rice) Pasta (buttermilk pasta, alfredo pasta, avocado pasta) Salad (fresco salad, spicy kale salad)
