French Toast breakfast casserole is easy and tasty make ahead recipe. Can make overnight with bread, eggs and blueberry. Perfect for families or for parties. You may also freeze the leftover.

  • 3 Cups Sourdough bread chunks
  • 1 Cup Blueberry
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1/4 Cup Maple syrup /blueberry syrup
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon optional


  • Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  • In a greased deep baking dish.
  • Add sour bread pieces and blueberries.
  • Combine them gently.
  • In a mixing bowl, add eggs, milk, syrup, cinnamon powder. Beat them until the mixture becomes frothy.
  • Pour egg mixture over the bread pieces.
  • Cover and bake it for 25 minutes.
  • Uncover and bake it for about 30 minutes or until it is done perfectly.
  • Allow it to cool for about 10 minutes. Serve warm with maple syrup or blueberry syrup.
