  • 1 Cup All Purpose flour / maida
  • 2 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tsp Carom seeds / Ajwain
  • 4 tbsp Cooking Oil
  • 1/4 tsp Salt or as required

Ingredients For Stuffing:

  • 2 Potatoes Boiled
  • 1/2 Cup Green Peas
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 2 tsp Cooking Oil
  • 5 stalks Coriander Leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Salt or as required
  • 2 tsp Cooking Oil

Ingredients For Frying:

  • 2 Cup Cooking Oil for Deep Frying

  • To boiled and mashed potatoes, add green peas, cumin seeds, Chili powder, garam masala and salt to taste. And saute this mixture in 2 tsp of cooking oil for 2 minutes or till it leaves out the raw smell. Add chopped coriander leaves. Keep aside, to return it to room temperature.
  • Once cooled, divide them into equal small size balls.
  • With maida add cumin seeds, ajwain, and salt. Now add 4 tbsp of cooking oil and combine and rub well, so that oil particles incorporated well into every particle of the flour. Set aside for one hour by covering it tightly.
  • Divide the dough into equal small portions and roll out into small circles. And place a potato filling balls in the center. Carefully bring all the edges of the flour to the center.
  • Press gently, with even pressure, where all the dough got together. And gently pull out the external frilled dough, like one in this picture.
  • Perform the same with the remaining dough. ¬†And keep everything ready, when we go for deep frying.
  • Heat enough oil in the pan, once the oil becomes hot, add the kept ready bags.
  • Deep fry them in hot to medium flame. Once the sizzling sounds slow down and the bags turned into golden brown, remove it from the oil. Place them in the kitchen towel, to remove excess oil.
