3cupwaterfor cooking the meat
1teaspoonred chili powder
½teaspooncoriander powder
¼teaspoonturmeric powder
½teaspoonsalt or as required
3tablespoonvegetable oil
1teaspoonfennel seeds
¼cuponionfinely chopped
1green chilislited
8curry leaves
1teaspoonginger garlic paste
¼cupgrated coconut
Instructions
In a bowl, boil the meat along with 3 cups of water for about 4-5 minutes or until it is well done.
Then strain and discard the water.
Allow it to cool to the room temperature. And squeeze the excess water if any.
Then remove the skin and mash gently with the hands. The meat looks crumble and its ok to have few lumps. And carefully remove any fish bones you find.
Add red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt and blend them well. Keep it aside.
In a pan, add vegetable oil and fennel seeds.
When fennel seeds start changing its green color, add chopped onion, green chili, and curry leaves.
Saute till onion becomes tender, then add ginger garlic paste and saute further for a couple of minutes.
Then add spiced crumbled fish, which we kept aside earlier.
Over medium heat saute them, till it leaves out the moisture and fragrant.
