Sweet Rava Paniyaram recipe, an instant deep fried snack best for teatime. These sweet balls are crunchy on the outside and super soft inside.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Semolina /Rava/ Sooji
  • 11/2 cup All purpose flour /Maida
  • 1 cup Sugar  
  • 1/8 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 Cardamom   gently crushed

Instructions

  • Combine Rava, sugar, maida, crushed cardamom, and baking powder in a mixing bowl.
  • Add the little water at a time to make a thicker batter. 
  • Set aside for about 15-30 minutes.
  • Heat Oil in pan for frying.  When the oil becomes hot, scoop the batter with a table spoon. 
  • And gently drop them into the oil. 
  • In the medium flame, fry them until it becomes golden brown.
  • Strain them and transfer to kitchen towel to remove excess oil.
  • Serve Rava Paniyaram hot.
