Mushroom pepper fry recipe

Mushroom pepper fry recipe made with fresh button mushrooms, green peppers, crushed black pepper. A spicy side dish perfect for easy weeknight dinners in Indian style.

  • 3 Cups Mushroom sliced
  • 1 Cup onion sliced
  • 1/2 cup tomato sliced
  • 1 cup cup green pepper sliced
  • 1 tbsp garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt or as required
  • 1 tbsp chili flakes
  • 1 tbsp black pepper crushed


  • In a pan, add cooking oil and minced garlic. Saute for a minute.
  • Then add onions. Saute until it becomes soft and translucent.
  • Add tomato and fry for a minute.
  • Add green pepper, mushroom and salt. And combine all the vegetables well.
  • Close the lid and cook it for about 15 minutes or until the all the vegetables are done and when no water is visible on the pan.
  • Add crushed black pepper and chili flakes. 
  • Garnish it with chopped coriander leaves. And Serve Hot.
