Ingredients

teaspoon
black peppercorns
slightly crushed
1
cup
milk
(See Notes. 1)
½
teaspoon
ground turmeric

teaspoon
honey
Instructions
Gently crush whole black peppercorns in pestle and mortar. And set aside.
In a small saucepan, bring the milk to a gentle boil, until it begins to foam.
Then add crushed black peppercorns, ground turmeric, and honey.
Whisk until the milk becomes frothy.
Transfer to serving glass and serve warm.
Notes
Choose any milk, like whole milk, low-fat, or vegan milk.
Crush the black peppercorns just before making this drink.
Add crushed cardamom or grated ginger for a rich, aromatic flavor.
