Ingredients

pomegranate juice
homemade or store bought

teaspoon
lemon juice

tablespoon
honey
/simple syrup/agave nectar

salt

pomegranate arils
for the texture

sparkling water
club soda/sprite

ice cubes
Instructions
In a large pitcher, combine pomegranate juice, lemon juice, honey, salt, pomegranate arils, sparkling water, and ice cubes.
Stir well until all the ingredients combined together.
Serve immediately.
Notes
Stir in grated ginger for the warmth.
Adjust sweetness by adding sugar, honey, or agave. For a stronger flavor, freeze pomegranate juice into ice cubes and use them in the drink.
It is best served immediately but can be refrigerated for up to a day. Note that the fizziness will reduce over time.
Mix juice and sparkling water in a 1:2 or 1:3 ratio for parties. Avoid flavored sparkling water to maintain the pure tart and tangy taste.
