Instructions
In a small bowl, add Dijon mustard, honey, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, hot sauce, cayenne pepper, salt, and ground black pepper.
Using a whisk, blend it until all the ingredients combine together and turn into an even texture.
You can use it right away, or you can chill it in the fridge for 15 minutes for an extra depth of flavor.
Notes
Dijon mustard gives classic flavor, but you can swap with coarse-ground or your favorite mustard.
Honey blends smoothly when warmed; substitute with maple syrup or other plant-based sweeteners.
Adjust heat by increasing hot sauce, cayenne, or red pepper flakes—or tone it down with smoked paprika.
Store in the refrigerator up to 1 week; stir well before using. Not freezer-friendly.
Use as dip, spread, or drizzle—perfect for chicken, fries, burgers, sandwiches, or even salads.
