Spicy Nuts, crunchy and perfectly seasoned with cinnamon and rosemary, ready in 20 minutes. Ideal snack to enjoy during chilly weather!

Ingredients

cups
mixed nuts
almonds, pecans, cashews, walnuts, etc.
2
tablespoon
olive oil
or melted butter
2
tablespoon
brown sugar
¼
teaspoon
cayenne pepper
optional(see notes 1)

teaspoon
smoked paprika
½
teaspoon
cinnamon
½
teaspoon
garlic powder
½
teaspoon
salt
¼
teaspoon
black pepper
1
tablespoon
rosemary
(see notes 2)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Add the nuts, olive oil, brown sugar, smoked paprika, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and dried rosemary.
Toss until nuts are evenly coated.
Spread the coated nuts in a single layer on the lined baking sheet.
Bake for 12 minutes or until the nuts are toasted; stir halfway through.
Remove from the oven and let the nuts cool completely. They’ll crisp up as they cool.

Notes
Cayenne pepper adds a spicy kick; adjust for the preferred heat level.
If you are using fresh rosemary, chop it finely.
Store in an airtight container for freshness; they stay in the fridge for up to two weeks.
