Cedar Plank Salmon Grilled Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 Salmon Fillet Skin on
  • 2 tbsp Mustard
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • Salt as required
  • 4 tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Hot sauce

Instructions

  • Soak cedar planks in water for about 1 hour.
  • Wash and clean fish well.
  • Pat dry them with paper towel.
  • Generously spread Dejon mustard.
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper.
  • Allow it to marinate for about 20 minutes.

  • Set the grill to the high. Reduce the flame to medium and keep the soaked cedar planks in the grill. Grill them for 2-3 minutes.
  • Place the skin sided fish over the plank. And cook it for about 20 minutes to 30 minutes depending upon your desired level of cooked fish.
  • If the internal temperature shows 165° F, then it is perfectly done and ready to eat. Serve it with steamed vegetables. And sauce.
  • For the sauce: Combine mayonnaise and hot sauce and whisk well sprinkle over grilled salmon and serve immediately.
  • Set the grill to the high.

  • And cook it for about 20 minutes to 30 minutes depending upon your desired level.

  • For the sauce: Combine mayonnaise and hot sauce and whisk well sprinkle over grilled salmon and serve immediately.
  • Caution: keep the planks away from the direct flame. Check in between the grilling time to avoid any over burning of cedar planks.
