- 2 pounds shrimp
- 4 tbsp cornflour
- 1/4 tsp salt or as required
- 1 Cup cooking Oil for Frying
- 30 toothpicks or as required
- 5 tbsp water
Clean the shrimp.
Insert a toothpick to each of the shrimp in lengthwise.
Dilute cornflour with water and add salt.
Heat oil in a pan in medium heat.
Dip each toothpick inserted shrimps in flour mixer and drop it in the oil.
Cook shrimp until it's done.
Serve Shrimp as an appetizer with dipping sauce.
Washing with vinegar helps to remove any odor.
Fry in batches without crowding.
This is not a kids friendly recipe, so be cautious when the kids are around.
