Ingredients

  • 2 pounds shrimp
  • 4 tbsp cornflour
  • 1/4 tsp salt or as required
  • 1 Cup cooking Oil for Frying
  • 30 toothpicks or as required
  • 5 tbsp water

Instructions

  • Clean the shrimp.
  • Insert a toothpick to each of the shrimp in lengthwise.
  • Dilute cornflour with water and add salt.
  • Heat oil in a pan in medium heat.
  • Dip each toothpick inserted shrimps in flour mixer and drop it in the oil.
  • Cook shrimp until it's done.
  • Serve Shrimp as an appetizer with dipping sauce.

Notes

Washing with vinegar helps to remove any odor.
Fry in batches without crowding.
This is not a kids friendly recipe, so be cautious when the kids are around.
