2

garlic

1
teaspoon
Cajun seasoning
adjust to taste
¼
teaspoon
paprika
1
tablespoon
lemon juice
optional, for extra zest
¼
teaspoon
salt
½
teaspoon
ground black pepper
Instructions
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic.
Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onion is soft and translucent.
Stir in the trimmed green beans. Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper over the beans.
Toss the beans until they are evenly coated with the spice mix.
Pour in the water, cover the skillet with a lid.
Let the beans steam for about 5-7 minutes until they turn tender but still crisp. Stir occasionally.
Remove the lid, increase the heat to medium-high, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the water to evaporate.
Drizzle with lemon juice. Serve hot.
Notes
Adjust the heat level by adjusting the Cajun seasoning or cayenne pepper to suit your preference.
Store the leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, and in the freezer for up to 2 months.
Reheat them on the stovetop with a splash of water for freshness.
