Instructions
Start by preheating the oven to 200°F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a small bowl, add ground cinnamon, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, and salt, and mix thoroughly.
Using a mandoline slicer, slice the apples thinly(about ⅛ inch thick).
Arrange the apple slices on the baking sheet in a single layer. Sprinkle the spice mixture on both sides.
Bake for 1.5 to 2 hours, flipping the apple slices halfway through. Bake until they are crispy, and the edges are lightly golden brown.
Once done, remove from the oven and let the apple chips cool completely on the baking sheet.
Enjoy your spicy apple chips as a crunchy snack!
Notes
For best results, use firm apple varieties like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp.
