Treat yourself to the special Jalapeno Mojito-it's a hot and fantastic combination to try this summer.

Stirring the jalapeno mojito to combine all ingredients before serving.

This jalapeño mojito strikes the perfect balance between heat and sweetness(the same as this Jalapeno lemonade).

My love for jalapenos never ends, and I try to incorporate them into most dishes. This jalapeno mojito is another drink I'm trying out, with bold jalapeno flavors infusing classic recipes.

This wonderfully delicious jalapeno mojito can be assembled in just five minutes. Plus, this refreshing mocktail is quick and easy to make.

Now what? It's simple. Find a comfortable couch, sit back, relax, and enjoy sipping this sweet and spicy mocktail, the jalapeno mojito.

Why You'll Love This Recipe?

⭐️Quick & easy to make!

⭐️Tastes excellent with the right flavors.

⭐️Perfect for parties, Cinco de Mayo celebrations, or those who enjoy spicy food.

serving mojito with lime slices and straw

Ingredients

  • Jalapeno: If you are a beginner or have sensitive skin, wear gloves while slicing the jalapeno to avoid skin irritations.
  • Lime juice: Freshly squeezed lime juice is always a fantastic option. You can substitute it with lemon juice.
  • Honey: You can use another sweetener such as sugar, cane sugar, agave nectar, or maple syrup.
  • Cilantro: Just a couple of leaves enhance this jalapeno mojito's deliciousness. You can replace it with mint leaves.
  • Sparkling water: This is always my first choice when considering a drink to serve in a nonalcoholic way. However, if you'd like to make an alcoholic version, use rum as the replacement.

How To Make Jalapeno Mojito?

adding ice cubes

adding sparkling water to make jalapeno mojito
  1. Pour in the sparkling water. Stir well to combine all the ingredients.

♨️How To Adjust The Heat

This jalapeno mojito has a medium heat since we gently crushed the jalapeños.

The spiciness depends on how much you crush/smash the jalapeños-gentle taps release less heat.

If you're sensitive to heat, start with less jalapeño and adjust to taste. You can add Jalapeño syrup for extra heat for a fiery and flavorful boost.

FAQ

Can you make a mojito ahead of time?

It's always best to serve a mojito as soon as it's made. If served after a while, the sparkling water loses its pizza, and cilantro leaves may wilt, resulting in a less pleasing flavor.

What type of glass should I use to serve the jalapeño mojito?

These drinks are typically served in highball or Collins glasses filled with ice. However, you can use rock glasses or any other glassware you prefer.

What to serve with?

This spicy jalapeño mojito pairs well with appetizers like honey pepper wings, Jalapeno Nachos, or a sweet treat like strawberry shortcake cupcakes.

What variations can I try?

Swap sparkling water with rum for an alcoholic version. Muddle the jalapeno slices well for extra spice.

This is my cousin's absolute FAVORITE drink. I made them for her birthday and she loved the addition of the jalapeños.
