Ingredients
- Eggs. I use organic brown eggs, which are creamy and have a subtle flavor. But feel free to use the ones you regularly use.

- Milk: Use whole milk for the creamy, rich texture.
- Cajun seasoning. Use the store-bought seasoning or homemade seasoning.
- Black pepper adds heat and nutty flavors.
How To Make Cajun Scrambled Eggs
- Add eggs, salt, black pepper, milk, and Cajun seasoning in a mixing bowl.
- Whisk until all the ingredients are combined and become fluffy.
- Melt the butter in a pan on medium heat, pour the spiced egg mixture, and fold.
- Cook until scrambled, and garnish with green onion! (See tips & tricks below)
♨️How To Adjust The Heat
These Cajun scrambled eggs are with medium heat and with noticeable spiciness.
You can reduce the heat by adjusting the amount of Cajun seasoning and the ground black pepper.
Add chopped jalapeños or a pinch of cayenne pepper to enhance the heat.
Variations
- With Herbs: Add fresh herbs like cilantro or mint to make your Cajun scrambled eggs more delicious.
- With Veggies: If you have time and want to make this recipe even more colorful, you may add grated carrots and grated cabbage. They also blend perfectly with eggs and make your food worth anything.
- With Heat: Add in chopped bell pepper or jalapeno for more heat.
Storage & Reheating
Refrigerate. Store the leftovers in an air-tight container and use them for up to 2 days.
Freeze. I'm not a big fan of freezing scrambled eggs, but this recipe is good for freezing up to 2 months.
To reheat, sprinkle a splash of milk and gently heat over the microwave or stovetop, stirring frequently.
