This Fresh Mango Juice recipe is quick and effortless. It's ready in just 5 minutes with minimal effort. Simply blend ripe mangoes with honey and water, and enjoy a fresh, naturally sweet tropical drink!

I love making fresh juice at home, especially when mangoes are in season. This mango juice is quick and effortless, and it tastes much fresher than sugar-loaded store-bought versions.
It is one of my favorite ways to enjoy ripe mangoes, along with this (mango boba smoothie). The simple preparation allows their natural sweetness, tropical flavor, and creamy texture to shine.
With its rich golden color and refreshing flavor, this homemade mango juice is a perfect drink for hot summer days, backyard cookouts, spicy food, or whenever you want a tropical treat.

Ingredients
- Mango: Choose a mango variety with a soft texture that is good for juicing, such as Atalfo or Kent, as they tend to be sweeter and juicier.
- Honey: Optional. If the mangoes are naturally sweet or you prefer their natural flavor, you don't need to add any sweetener. However, if they are slightly tangy or not sweet enough, add honey to balance the taste. You can substitute with maple syrup, agave nectar, or simple syrup.
- Water: Mangoes have thick, fibrous flesh, which can result in a smoothie-like consistency when blended. You can add water to thin the consistency, making it lighter, smoother, and more enjoyable to drink. You can substitute this with coconut water, dairy-free milk, or orange juice.
- Garnish: Serve mango juice with fresh mango cubes or mint leaves. For a spicy kick, try dusting the glass rim with Tajin or chili lime seasoning.
How To Make Mango Juice
- Peel the mango, remove the pit by slicing around it, then chop the flesh into small chunks for easy blending.
- Add chopped mango chunks and ½ cup of water to the blender jar.
- Blend until the mixture turns smooth and creamy.
- Next, stir in honey and cold water, if needed.
- And blend again to combine everything.
- Once ready, pour the juice into glasses over ice cubes for a refreshing chill.
- Garnish with a mango slice or fresh mint leaves, and enjoy your delicious homemade mango juice!
Pro Tips For Best Results
If you prefer a smoother texture, strain the juice through a fine-mesh sieve to remove any fibers.
The Leftovers
Use the leftover mango juice to make a smoothie, a salad dressing, or a sauce base(try this spicy mango sauce). You can also mix with lemonade or sparkling water.
This mango juice is best enjoyed fresh. However, it can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one day or frozen for up to three months.
To use frozen juice, thaw it in the refrigerator overnight-no reheating is necessary. Serve it chilled for the best taste.

Frequently Asked Questions
I wouldn't recommend it. Mango skin is thicker and bitter. For the best taste, always peel before juicing!
Yes, you can use frozen mangoes. You can blend them directly from frozen if you have a heavy-duty blender. Adding water or milk can help improve the consistency.
The best mangoes for juice are ripe, sweet varieties like Haden, Ataulfo, or Kent. Other mango varieties also work well, but make sure they are ripe and soft for the best flavor and texture.
