The ingredients

Butter. The spicy alfredo sauce’s rich flavors depend highly on butter. So the only alternate that anyone can think of is unsalted butter.

Heavy whipping cream. Same like butter, this is the key ingredient that makes alfredo sauce luscious. Choose light whipping cream as the low fat option.

Parmesan cheese. Creates cheesy flavor and beautiful texture. For best results, use a block of parmesan cheese and grate it manually rather than getting the cheese in the powder form.

Roasted red pepper flakes. The main ingredient that adds the heat and robust flavors. Double up the quantity for intense heat.

Garlic. Adds brightness and vibrants. 

Italian seasoning. Gives the whole song favor that everyone is screaming for.

Over medium heat, place a pan. And add butter, cream, and minced garlic. 

Allow butter to melt down.

Add in Italian seasoning, roasted red pepper flakes, pepper, and salt. 

Cook for 3-4 in low heat or until the mixture starts to thicken.

Add parmesan cheese and stir continuously until the sauce becomes smooth.

Remove the pan from the heat and toss with pasta.

Variations

Cayenne pepper. For extra hot, it just spices up and slightly changes the spicy alfredo sauce’s color.

Jalapeno. Add a few slices of jalapeno or habanero for peppery flavors and heat.

Ingredients

  • Place a pan over medium heat. And add butter, cream, and minced garlic.
  • Allow butter to melt down.
  • Now stir in italian seasoning, roasted red pepper flakes, pepper, and salt.

To freeze. Freeze spicy alfredo sauce in the freezer safe airtight container for up to three months. And leave them in the refrigerator for minimum of 12 hours prior to the day of serving.
Consistency. Adjust the consistency to thicken, cook for another 2-3 minutes in low heat. To thin down, stir in heavy cream.
