How about having a brunch with an orange spritzer on the spring day? This nonalcoholic drink recipe is excellent for people looking for an easy, whole-family drink with the same fun.
This sparkling orange spritzer is a 100% easy recipe and is good to make just before serving. Simply blend the ingredients with no mess and no fuss.
What is a spritzer? A spritzer is a chilled European drink usually made with wine and carbonated or sparkling mineral water.
But to make this family-friendly, we are substituting it with 100% orange juice and sparkling water. And can we call it sparkling orange juice?
Why You’ll Love This Orange Spritzer Recipe?
Everyone’s favorite ingredient: We all know that orange juice is a favorite for many of us, so it is time to switch to your favorite fruit to serve at parties or treat yourself(and this orange punch or this watermelon mint punch). Here is my version of the orange spritzer recipe, which tastes super delicious.
The ingredient list is small: Sparkling water and orange juice. You can craft a drink that you crave for.
It's a money saver: Prepacked mocktails often have a huge price tag that’s hard to justify, especially when you can make a better drink at home for a lot cheaper(similar to homemade apple juice, kiwi juice, or cranberry juice).
Customizable to your liking: The beauty of this homemade drink is that you can swap and tweak the ingredients. Using this orange spritzer recipe as the base, you can experiment with different seasonal fruits.
The Ingredients
Orange juice: I have used store-bought orange juice that’s high in pulp(to get all those goodness of fibers). However, this is my personal choice. You can use any version of orange juice - high pulp, low pulp, or pulp-free, but make sure the package instructions say 100 percent orange juice(to avoid any artificial flavors and other ingredients).
Sparkling water: This is what makes the regular orange juice into a mocktail drink, the orange spritzer. And I've used nonsugar carbonated water for the fizz.
Fresh orange: This is optional, as it’s used for decorating purposes only. Depending on availability, you can substitute with lemon or lime slices.
